Customers have a business to run and dealing with equipment, drivers and regulations can be a burdensome task on top of their main business. High Country Transportation, Inc. can provide transportation designs that not only lift the burden off customers, we can provide it at a more competitive cost than customers can do it in-house with a private fleet. We have large buying power for equipment, tires and various other components which allows us to offer attractive pricing to our customers. In addition, we provide all licensing, hours of service regulation compliance, fuel tax processing, driver staffing and several other functions for which a customer using a private fleet would have to provide. Essentially, we take care of the all your transportation needs. Customers give us the parameters that must be followed, provide the freight and we make sure it gets where it needs to be. Most importantly, a dedicated contract solution provides another layer of liability protection for our customers. High Country Transportation, Inc. carries a high level of liability insurance to protect our business as well as our customer’s business. A liability claim for transportation on an in-house private fleet can affect a customer’s entire business and we provide a solid layer of protection against that when we are contracted to provide transportation.
High Country Transportation, Inc. specializes in dry bulk, refrigerated and dry van dedicated contracts. High volume shippers benefit from our lightweight equipment which can haul more payload thereby decreasing the total number of loads shipped. Our expertise in 24 hour a day operations allow us to provide the maximum number of loads in a day by moving your goods in two-shifts around the clock. Dry bulk customers in the Southwest can benefit our railroad transload facility in Gallup, NM. In addition to the dedicated fleet we provide to customers, seasonal fluctuations or spikes in business can be handled by diverting trucks from our over-the-road fleet to cover shipments as needed.
Although longer contracts provide more competitive pricing, High Country Transportation, Inc. can provide dedicated transportation service for contracts as short as one year. High Country Transportation, Inc. is experienced in flatbed and pneumatic operations and can offer quotes for those types of service based on three year minimum contracts. Power-only dedicated contracts can also be provided. While our most efficient areas for dedicated contracts are Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, Oklahoma and Texas, we can provide dedicated transportation anywhere in the lower 48 states.
